The mid-facelift is another variety of mini lift if performed alone, or it can be an integral part of a full facelift.

It specifically focuses on the central region of the cheek, between the lower eyelid and corner of the mouth.

This may be the only evident aging on an otherwise young face, or it may be part of the picture in more advanced aging. The mid-facelift frequently requires incision both in the hairline and inside the mouth. Sometimes, in order to minimize the dimension of incision, a miniature TV camera (called an endoscope) is used to assist in the process.
