Breast Enhancement Denver, Breast Enhancement Surgeon

Breast Enhancement Surgery in Denver

For Patients seen in both in our Denver, Colorado and Beverly Hills, California offices, breast surgeries including breast augmentation, breast uplift and breast reduction are among the most frequently procedures.

As with all cosmetic plastic surgeries, the best candidates are people in good physical and mental health, with reasonable and realistic expectations, who are looking for improvement, not "perfection".

Whichever breast procedure is right for you, at Grossman Plastic Surgery ® you will find the expertise and experience to thoroughly explore your options and help you achieve your goals.

Among board certified plastic surgeons, breast surgeries (breast enlargement, breast uplift, and breast reduction) accounted for about 34% of all the cosmetic surgical procedures performed in 2006. That’s more than one-third of all cosmetic surgeries! This is pretty significant for just one area of the body, and is important for Grossman Plastic Surgery ® as well.

For patients seen both in our Denver, Colorado and Beverly Hills, California offices breast surgeries (breast enlargement, breast uplift, and breast reduction) are among the most frequently requested cosmetic procedures. Whether this is because Dr. Grossman is world-renowned and recognized as the cosmetic breast surgeon to many highly publicized celebrities or because of Dr. Capraro’s interest, specialized training, and exquisite talent in breast reconstruction is not clear. Nevertheless, at Grossman Plastic Surgery®, breast surgery is one of our specialties.

For many women and for much of western society, breasts are intimately involved with the perception of femininity. To quote a recent New York Times article (New York Times, Saturday May 17, 2008, Health Section): “…breasts are still viewed in many societies and cultures as a symbol of womanhood, nurturing and sexuality…” So that for women, their breast size, shape, and position are important issues when they consider their appearance and attractiveness. For most it’s not strictly an issue of how attractive their figures are to men as much as how attractive they feel to themselves.
Still, there’s no denying men’s interest in a woman’s breasts. In the iVillage ® article “Men Confess Why They're Breast Obsessed” it was said: “A-cup or Z-cup, breasts define femininity in the same way that channel surfing and participating in fantasy sports leagues define masculinity. Breasts hint at a woman's ability to nurture and sustain life.” And there’s no question that men’s fascination with women’s breasts spawned an entire industry of magazines, clubs, movies, videos, and fantasies such as
Playboy® and Penthouse® among others.

There’s lots of informative material available on the internet concerning breast surgery. However, there’s also a lot of misinformation. It’s important that you try to distinguish fact from fiction. A consultation with Board Certified Plastic Surgeons such as Grossman Plastic Surgery ® is a good place to start. As with any consultation, you should come prepare; prepared with critical questions about the surgery, the surgeon, the anticipated results, and the risks (see the FAQ’s for the breast procedure that interests you). At Grossman Plastic Surgery®, we welcome these questions and encourage them.
