If you’re dissatisfied with the size or shape of your nose and you live anywhere in Denver, plastic surgery might be an option for you. Specifically, a rhinoplasty might be an appropriate way to address your concerns and give you the attractive, appropriately sized nose you desire.
Many of our patients at Grossman Plastic Surgery have numerous commitments throughout Denver. You’re a busy person, and you can’t afford to spend a lot of time recovering from your rhinoplasty.
Fortunately, recovery from rhinoplasty is relatively simple, and you shouldn’t miss much work. Rhinoplasty is plastic surgery, and all surgical procedures are serious, but the procedure is commonly performed.
The recovery timeframe works roughly like this:
- You can expect some bruising and swelling for a week to 10 days after your plastic surgery. Most patients return to work around the same time this subsides.
- You’ll likely experience some mild discomfort. Our doctors will prescribe painkillers, and most patients don’t find the recovery period particularly painful.
- After about six weeks most patients can resume a full range of activities, including exercise.
- It will take approximately a year for all of the scar tissue to fully heal and for the complete results of your plastic surgery to make themselves apparent.
We’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have about rhinoplasty.
